A variety of associations and other non-profit groups have members located or with interests in the rural areas of the state, and support the California Countryside by membership in our coalition. They include:

California Lodging Industry Association (CLIA) - CLIA is the largest independent state lodging association in the United States. Established in 1946, CLIA serves the special needs of independent lodging property owners and operators, with particular emphasis on legislative and regulatory advocacy; information and education; and specialized buyer programs for members. It also links consumers to its online booking service, California Lodging Reservations.

Outdoor Writers Association of California (OWAC) - OWAC is a professional organization comprised of California-based journalists (writers, photographers, speakers et al.) who report on travel and the great outdoors and outdoor activities, from hiking and biking to camping and golf. It is considered the West's premier media group. Its supporting member category includes California destinations, outfitters and other travel and outdoor related companies.

California Countryside also would like to acknowledge the support of the California Travel Industry Association (CalTIA) - CalTIA is the official voice of the California Travel industry. It is an independent, non-profit association unifying the state's many travel-related businesses and serving them in the areas of advocacy, education and marketing.
